Asset Management Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Project Manager to lead large-scale asset lifecycle and capital project initiatives across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The role bridges project delivery with long-term asset performance, ensuring assets are governed, documented, commissioned and handed over to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of asset management projects from initiation through commissioning and operational handover.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, risks, issues and stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain asset registers, data standards and governance frameworks for asset information management.
• Implement asset lifecycle and maintenance strategies aligned with ISO 55000 and recognized best practices.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance and client stakeholders to keep delivery and operational objectives aligned.
• Drive governance activities including status reporting, steering committee updates, change and escalation management.
• Oversee commissioning and handover processes, ensuring complete documentation and clear operational ownership.
• Track project benefits, performance and operational outcomes against agreed KPIs.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of project management experience in asset-intensive industries such as infrastructure, utilities, energy, transportation or large-scale facilities.
• Proven delivery of asset management or capital project initiatives in the UAE, Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region.
• Hands‑on knowledge of ISO 55000 asset management standards.
• Strong experience in project governance, risk management and stakeholder communication.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification highly preferred; asset-management certifications (e.g., IAM) are an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
