Purchasing Executive – Drywall, Ceiling & Partition Materials

About the role

EJABI Group in Dubai is looking for an experienced Purchasing Executive to lead sourcing, procurement and supplier management for drywall, ceiling and partition materials. The role will coordinate with sales, projects and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and optimal stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for drywall, ceiling and partition materials.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality and lead times.
• Manage the full purchase order cycle, from RFQs and contracts to order placement and delivery tracking.
• Forecast material demand in collaboration with sales, projects and warehouse to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Maintain relationships with manufacturers, freight and logistics partners for sea, air and GCC customs clearance.
• Ensure materials meet quality, safety and environmental standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Track market trends, raw‑material prices and currency fluctuations to advise management on cost impacts.
• Negotiate annual supply agreements, payment terms and volume‑based discounts.
• Prepare procurement budgets, cost‑analysis reports and supplier performance evaluations using KPIs such as on‑time delivery, quality and pricing.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and warehouse teams on incoming inspections and project specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably with drywall, ceiling and partition systems.
• Proven experience in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation and vendor management with regional and international suppliers.
• Familiarity with GCC import/export processes, customs procedures and logistics.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred and transferable residency or work visa.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP or procurement software.
• Advanced MS Excel for cost analysis and reporting.
