Assistant Airport Lounge Manager

About the role

The Assistant Airport Lounge Manager supports the Lounge Manager in delivering smooth, efficient service that meets customer expectations and adheres to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily Front of House and Back of House operations, ensuring service speed and quality meet company standards.
• Audit lounge areas for compliance with company, government and health authority regulations, including food safety and sanitation.
• Supervise and evaluate staff performance, handle counseling, and coordinate disciplinary actions with HR.
• Manage FOH inventory, forecast weekly orders, control operational costs and reduce waste.
• Build customer rapport, handle complaints, gather feedback and liaise with airlines for necessary information.
• Organise employee rosters, duty assignments and ensure regular area checks to maintain a professional image.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of supervisory or managerial experience in hospitality, F&B or lounge operations.
• Strong spoken English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to work weekends, public holidays and shift patterns.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with high attention to detail.
• Capability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
