Assistant Analyst – Data Security (UAE Nationals)

About the role

The Assistant Analyst – Data Security will support Access Governance and Data Security functions within the Group Information Security Department. The role focuses on timely access reviews and data security assessments to strengthen the bank’s security posture. This position is open to UAE nationals only.

Key responsibilities

• Perform access reviews for business and infrastructure applications, ensuring compliance with access governance policies and the principle of least privilege.
• Coordinate with business units, HR and the Information Security Department to remediate unauthorized or risky access and manage privileged account reviews.
• Govern the Identity and Access Management (IDAM) solution, support bank‑wide data classification initiatives, develop and maintain DLP policies, and report KPI/KRI related to data security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• UAE national eligibility as specified.
• At least one security or risk certification (e.g., Security+, ISO 27001) held or in progress.
• Ability to work independently without detailed guidance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools, preferably Forcepoint or Microsoft Purview.
• Understanding of access governance principles, least‑privilege and segregation of duties.
• Familiarity with information security frameworks and regulatory standards.
