Assistant Bar Manager

About the role

The Assistant Bar Manager supports the day‑to‑day operations of the bar at Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction, high service standards and achievement of financial targets. This role blends operational oversight with team leadership in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily bar operations and maintaining cleanliness.
• Supervise, train and motivate bar team members to deliver excellent service.
• Participate in planning promotions, beverage purchases and pricing under the Cluster Director of Food & Beverage.
• Control beverage costs, monitor inventory levels and handle stock ordering.
• Ensure beverage quality, presentation and compliance with brand standards.
• Maintain equipment handling procedures to minimise breakages and losses.
• Contribute to the creation of new drinks and snacks, improving presentations.
• Ensure compliance with local alcohol service regulations and health & safety requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a large luxury hotel (minimum 500 keys); pre‑opening experience is an advantage.
• Proven work experience as an Assistant Bar Manager with strong communication and organizational skills.
