Assistant Bar Manager

About the role

The Assistant Bar Manager supports the Bar Manager in delivering high‑quality service at Rixos Bab Al Bahr, a five‑star luxury resort on Al Marjan Island. This role ensures smooth daily operations, staff productivity, and guest satisfaction across all bar outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly rosters for all bars and maintain a fair, productive work environment.
• Handle requisition forms for food & beverage items, check service set‑ups, and ensure equipment is clean and polished.
• Train staff continuously on behavior, suggestive selling, service skills, and product knowledge.
• Maintain daily log books, monitor occupancy, and take corrective actions for service.
• Supervise billing, cash flow, and ensure budgeted profit targets are met.
• Welcome guests, allocate tables, address complaints, and manage special requests.
