Assistant Butler Manager

About the role

Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the Butler Department, ensuring personalized, anticipatory, and exceptional luxury service to all guests. Support the Butler Manager in leading the team and maintaining service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the Butler team and ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Welcome guests, coordinate arrivals and departures, and fulfill guest preferences and special requests.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles and records to support personalized service delivery.
• Support VIP arrivals, in‑house guest engagement, and resolve guest concerns promptly.
• Monitor service standards and ensure adherence to Luxury Collection and Forbes expectations.
• Assist in training, coaching, motivating, and developing Butler associates.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, Food & Beverage, and other departments.
• Prepare and review operational reports, guest feedback, and departmental records.
• Handle guest billing inquiries, service recovery situations, and follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Butler Services, Front Office, Guest Relations, or luxury hospitality.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory or team‑leading experience in a hospitality environment.
• Strong guest service, interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hotel property management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
