Assistant Director - Investigations

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an Assistant Director – Investigations to lead and enhance its security operations as the integrated resort prepares for its 2027 opening. This senior position will guide investigative activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and support operational excellence across the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent decision‑making and subject‑matter expertise under pressure.
• Conduct benchmark studies, develop policies, and implement best‑practice operational procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local regulations and ensure full compliance.
• Prepare budget forecasts, purchase orders, and resource schedules for security operations.
• Build and sustain relationships with government emergency services and regulatory bodies.
• Design investigative strategies, timelines, and reporting protocols for corporate investigations.
• Gather intelligence, produce daily intelligence reports, and coordinate follow‑up investigations.
• Collaborate with Legal on complex legal issues and ensure investigations adhere to all applicable laws.
• Assign and oversee investigators on complex or high‑profile cases, preparing comprehensive investigative reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in security or investigations, preferably within a large hospitality or resort environment.
• Strong analytical abilities to identify gaps, diagnose root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE security regulations and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to develop and manage budgets, procurement processes, and resource allocation.
• Effective communication skills for presenting findings to senior stakeholders and legal counsel.
