Assistant Director of Sales - Corporate

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Assistant Director of Sales to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role you will partner with the Director of Sales to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and position the organization as a market leader. You will blend strategic vision with hands‑on execution, lead sales initiatives, mentor team members and foster a collaborative, innovative sales culture.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies across all business segments.
• Lead, coach and develop sales team members to maximise productivity and achieve targets.
• Identify emerging market trends and competitive insights to inform strategic recommendations.
• Manage a portfolio of key accounts while prospecting new business opportunities.
• Prepare detailed sales proposals, action plans, pricing strategies and budget allocations.
• Organise strategic sales trips, client familiarisation events and maintain relationships with government authorities, tourism boards and industry stakeholders.
• Monitor sales performance metrics, revenue targets and KPIs, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in a sales management or assistant‑director role, or 3 years progressive experience in sales, account management or business development.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
