Assistant Director - Security Administration

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an Assistant Director – Security Administration to lead and enhance the resort’s security operations. This senior position reports to the Security Director and works closely with executive leadership to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Make independent, expert decisions under pressure and act as a subject‑matter expert.
• Conduct benchmark studies and adopt best practices for security operations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local regulations and ensure full compliance.
• Review existing practices, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Research, evaluate, and propose new technologies and systems to boost efficiency.
• Develop comprehensive policies, procedures, and implementation processes.
• Set strategic objectives and key performance indicators for the security team.
• Create accurate forms, manpower schedules, and equipment allocations.
• Prepare budget forecasts, business proposals, and purchase orders aligned with financial targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with government emergency services and regulatory bodies.
• Supervise staff development, training, performance management, and overall team performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in hospitality security.
• Previous work experience in the United Arab Emirates.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Self‑starter with solid decision‑making and organizational skills.
• Confidence interacting with executive leaders.
• Ability to work flexible shifts according to business demand.
