Assistant F&B Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant F&B Manager to support the Food & Beverage department in delivering high‑quality service and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role will work closely with the F&B Manager, kitchen and service teams to optimise operations, manage costs and enhance the guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety management systems, HACCP, hygiene policies and EKFC safety standards.
• Assess staffing needs, conduct orientation and training, and monitor performance.
• Control staff costs, manage overtime and absences, and improve lounge operational efficiency.
• Coordinate menu changes, food presentation and kitchen matters with the production department.
• Assist in developing new beverage menus and concepts to drive revenue.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints promptly, and analyse feedback for service improvements.
• Apply ISO 9001:2015 quality policies and department procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, hotel management or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of hospitality experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial role within a 5‑star environment.
• Strong knowledge of luxury hotel and standalone restaurant operations.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene protocols.
• Proven track record in food quality and cost control.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of HACCP and ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
