About the role
The Assistant Guest Relations Manager supports front‑desk operations at a Marriott property in Dubai, handling guest check‑ins, payments and service requests while ensuring compliance with brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, assign rooms and issue keys.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information and ensure rates match market codes.
- Handle all payment types, vouchers, paid‑outs and balance receipts.
- Compile daily reports, cashier and closing reports, and maintain accurate guest accounts.
- Assist guests with directions, property information and special requests, coordinating with other staff as needed.
- Support loss prevention by reporting theft and following security procedures.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related guest‑service experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Required skills
- Cashier and closing report preparation.
- Guest check‑in processing.
- Marriott Rewards system usage.
- POS system operation.
