Assistant Headteacher – Secondary (Start Jan 2027)

About the role

Safa Community School in Dubai is seeking a Secondary Assistant Headteacher to start in January 2027. Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage pastoral care, support and well‑being for secondary students.
• Strategically oversee a Key Stage and its curriculum offering.
• Develop and run a thriving house structure at the heart of the school.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Headteacher to use data and academic tracking to accelerate progress and attainment.
• Inspire and empower staff, continuously challenging them to improve and strive for excellence.

Required profile

• A high‑quality degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience in middle leadership (essential) and senior leadership (desirable).
• Leadership qualification (desirable) and a strong track record of accelerating student progress.
• Ability to motivate, support and challenge teachers while organising effective teams.
• Willingness to contribute broadly to school life and adapt quickly to a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
