Assistant Lobby Lounge Manager

About the role

The Assistant Lobby Lounge Manager supports the smooth operation of the lounge area, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and that staff work cohesively. This position reports to the Lounge Manager and acts as a key point of contact for both guests and team members.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff to deliver optimal service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming, attire, and correct any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the area.
• Maintain storage organization using FIFO principles and conduct regular inventories.
• Monitor dining room seating, service flow, safety, and guest wellbeing.
• Complete work orders for maintenance and assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and navigating confined spaces.
