Assistant Manager - Accounts

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Accounts will support dealership operations across Sales and Aftersales, partnering with branch management to provide budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting and KPI decision support while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and SAP uploads for Sales and Aftersales operations.
• Oversee sales accounting, cash control, refunds, petty cash, daily collections and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Review and strengthen stock, debtor, insurance and WIP controls, including physical inventory reconciliation and annual stock counts.
• Ensure branch adherence to finance SOPs, support internal audit reviews and implement audit recommendations.
• Lead, supervise and develop the branch finance team and produce ad‑hoc reports and business project analyses.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of finance experience, preferably in a dealership or automotive environment.
• Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent professional finance certification.
• Strong analytical, detail‑oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience working with ERP systems and delivering accurate financial outputs under tight timelines.
