About the role
Abul Fazl Trading LLC is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage its financial operations in Dubai. The role focuses on transaction recording, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and tax and inventory accounting for a trading environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable, and post daily general ledger entries using Zoho Books.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, inventory accounting logs, and periodic physical stock reconciliations.
- Prepare routine financial reports, trial balances, and management accounting summaries.
- Maintain proper tax documentation and support compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
- Audit vendor statements, customer receipts, and operational transaction schedules for accuracy.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 2–4 years of general accounting experience, preferably in a trading or commercial environment.
- Hands‑on expertise with Zoho Books / Zoho Accounting.
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT compliance, inventory tracking and bank reconciliations.
