Assistant Manager – Business Banking Governance (UAE Nationals)

About the role

The role supports Business Banking’s compliance and governance activities, ensuring alignment with banking regulations, internal policies and industry best practices. It also coordinates compliance reviews, regulatory initiatives and updates to relevant policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to Business Banking client needs, resolve queries and complaints, and ensure accurate, timely transaction processing.
• Support oversight and implementation of the compliance framework within Business Banking.
• Coordinate compliance reviews, risk assessments, audits, regulatory initiatives and remediation projects.
• Assist in developing, reviewing and updating policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
• Provide ongoing governance and compliance support to frontline teams, including monitoring and analysing customer profiles.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and control of documents and secured items.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, Project Management or a related field.
• Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the UAE banking sector.
• Good knowledge of banking products, operations, compliance and governance requirements.
