Assistant Manager - Corporate Treasury, Financial Risk Management

About the role

KPMG Middle East is hiring an Assistant Manager/Manager for its Financial Risk Management (FRM) team, based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. The role provides treasury advisory services to corporate clients, covering treasury strategy, liquidity management, hedging and treasury systems.

Key responsibilities

• Advise corporate clients on treasury strategies, policies, target operating models, cash and liquidity management processes, hedging strategies and treasury systems selection and implementation
• Manage multiple corporate treasury projects so that engagements are planned and delivered within budget and on time
• Lead teams and deliver high-quality, impactful solutions
• Stay up to date with new developments in corporate treasury
• Build and strengthen internal and external relationships, and help senior management identify new opportunities
• Contribute practical insights to KPMG thought leadership

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance or Accounting
• 7+ years of experience in a corporate treasury function or in a consultancy/Big 4 firm
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or CFA
• Ability to work under pressure, with stringent deadlines and tough client conditions, sometimes requiring extended hours

Required skills

• Good technical knowledge of treasury systems and prior experience selecting and implementing them (KYRIBA, FIS, SAP HANA, GTreasury, etc.)
• Experience in cash and liquidity management, cash flow forecasting and cash pooling
• Prior experience in financial modeling and financial risk management
• Detailed knowledge of treasury product pricing and accounting treatments
• Experience managing and motivating treasury teams, and exposure to pre-sales support, proposals and RFP responses
