Strategy Analyst

About the role

Tahseen Consulting, described as one of the Arab region's fastest-growing management and public policy consulting firms, is looking for Strategy Analysts in Dubai. Analysts take responsibility for part of the problem solving on each client engagement, structuring and performing analysis and conducting primary research to find the insights behind client recommendations. They identify information sources, gather and interpret data and present their findings to the project team.

Key responsibilities

• Work within a project team to support clients through end-to-end project development and implementation.
• Perform rigorous financial, business case, statistical and other quantitative analyses.
• Analyse research results and manage portions of projects.
• Manage the quality and timeliness of project deliverables, delegate tasks to junior staff and ensure deadlines are met.
• Take part in marketing activities such as whitepapers, proposals and capability briefings.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of relevant industry or functional experience in strategy or strategic planning, project management, organizational restructuring or transformation, operations or IT, finance, or public policy.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• Superior creative problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to manage several simultaneous projects with demanding deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to share and synthesise knowledge.
• Written and spoken English; bilingual English and Arabic is preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Access).
• Internet research.
