Assistant Manager – Finance Control (Dubai)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Finance Control will support the Real Estate division’s financial controlling function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong governance and the adoption of digital and AI solutions. This role contributes to a culture of business excellence and continuous improvement within a fast‑growing, diversified group.

Key responsibilities

• Review trial balances, balance‑sheet reconciliations and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to management.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, SOPs, governance frameworks and internal controls.
• Assist audit readiness and resolve control or compliance issues promptly.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities within finance processes.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and management reporting tools using Power BI.
• Leverage data analytics and AI solutions to enhance reporting and decision‑making.
• Lead finance improvement projects and drive process optimisation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on finance transformation and system enhancement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA or equivalent is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial controlling, reporting or related finance functions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, self‑driven and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Proficiency with Power BI.
• Experience with financial systems and automation tools.
