Assistant Manager – Financial Planning

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Financial Planning leads the Business Financial Planning unit, delivering budgets, forecasts and long‑range plans for revenue‑generating activities, especially leasing, at Expo City Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Manage annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and long‑range planning cycles for assigned revenue streams.
• Develop integrated revenue, cost, capex, cash‑flow and profitability models with clear assumptions.
• Oversee leasing business plans, validate occupancy, rent, service income and lease escalation assumptions.
• Partner with commercial, leasing, hospitality and operations teams to monitor performance and drive corrective actions.
• Review business cases for leasing, F&B, hotels and other commercial initiatives, providing financial challenge and recommendations.
• Coordinate month‑end accruals, pre‑payments, reporting and produce dashboards on revenue, occupancy and cash flow.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
• Strong analytical, commercial evaluation and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage concurrent deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools.
• Financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of month‑end close, accruals and financial controls.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce and Power BI (desirable).
