Assistant Manager – HR & Emiratization

About the role

Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Manager to support Human Resources and lead the Emiratization program at its Yas Island property. The role works closely with the HR Manager and the Director of HR & Training to ensure compliance, smooth onboarding, and development of local talent.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and support colleagues on HR‑related matters.
• Provide regular updates on Emiratization headcount, percentages and related reports to the Emiratization head and government entities.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and ensure a seamless entry experience for new hires.
• Assist the Director of HR & Training with performance management and grievance handling.
• Develop staff to meet training targets and objectives.
• Organise and represent Emirati functions within the property.
• Prepare data and analysis for HR reporting.
• Support payroll activities as required by management.
• Maintain data integrity in HR systems and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and UAE labour law.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, Emiratization initiatives and UAE labour regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Emiratization policies and reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with payroll procedures and HR information systems.
• Ability to analyse HR data and produce accurate reports.
