Assistant Manager - Legal

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Legal Affairs provides comprehensive legal support to Dubai Racing Club and its affiliated entities. The role ensures compliance with UAE laws, Dubai government regulations, and internal governance while advising management on corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to management and all departments on corporate, commercial, operational, and regulatory issues.
• Interpret UAE Federal laws, Dubai Government regulations, and labour legislation, and keep management informed of relevant changes.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and amend a wide range of contracts, including commercial, service, consultancy, sponsorship, procurement, NDAs, MOUs, and lease agreements.
• Monitor contract compliance and offer legal interpretation throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Advise the Talent & Culture Department on UAE Labour Law, employment contracts, disciplinary matters, investigations, grievances, terminations, and end‑of‑service benefits.
• Review HR policies for legal compliance and support disciplinary committees.
• Assist in maintaining corporate governance standards, review internal policies, and support statutory filings and corporate documentation.
• Coordinate with external counsel on litigation, arbitration, labour disputes, and other legal proceedings, preparing case summaries and legal briefs.
• Prepare and maintain legal correspondence, notices, opinions, memoranda, and reports while ensuring confidentiality.
