Assistant Manager of People & Culture

About the role

Anantara Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager of People & Culture to support the Director in day‑to‑day HR operations, employee engagement, recruitment and compliance at the Desert Islands Resort & Spa.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the P&C budget, forecasts and annual action plans.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures and UAE Labour Law compliance are followed and continuously improved.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations and payroll administration.
• Coordinate work permits, visas, team member transportation and accommodation matters.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and support learning & development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality, with solid knowledge of UAE Labour Law.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word.
