Assistant Operator Coiled Tubing

About the role

The Assistant Operator Coiled Tubing supports the execution of coiled tubing operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of services that enhance well productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, assembly, and deployment of coiled tubing equipment and tools for well interventions.
• Support operation of coiled tubing units by monitoring equipment performance, pressure, and flow rates, and help with troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Rig up and rig down coiled tubing equipment at well sites while adhering to safety procedures.
• Participate in interventions such as cleanouts, perforating, logging, and stimulation treatments under supervision.
• Handle and maintain tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring proper storage, inspection, and inventory management.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education (12 years) in English, Mathematics or a science subject, or high school with a coil tubing training diploma/certificate.
• At least 1 year of practical mechanical exposure as an Operator Assistant.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for oil field service work.

Required skills

• Coiled tubing equipment handling and rigging.
• Monitoring of pressure, flow rates, and equipment performance.
• Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
