Aircraft Maintenance Team Lead – B2 License, Global & Challenger

About the role

Join Bombardier’s new Abu Dhabi Service Center, a state‑of‑the‑art MRO facility supporting the full Bombardier aircraft portfolio. The role leads daily maintenance operations, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily aircraft maintenance, coordinating manpower, tooling, equipment and hangar space.
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting support and certify all maintenance actions and releases to service.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and escalates issues to Project Managers.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of maintenance documentation, work cards, technical records and regulatory reports.
• Promote safety, quality and risk‑management culture, supporting audits and regulatory inspections.
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching, training and performance guidance.

Required profile

• Valid GCAA and/or EASA Part 66 B2 (or C) Aircraft Technician License.
• Type‑rated on Bombardier Global and Challenger series.
• Minimum 8 years experience on Bombardier aircraft and at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of Appendix I to Part‑66, Part‑M, Part‑145 and related regulations.
• Understanding of human factors, EWIS and CDCCL requirements.

Required skills

• Interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Operation of standard and special tools, ground support equipment.
• Maintenance data compliance and defect reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication of aircraft status.
