Assistant Outlet Manager – Club Lounge (Chinese speaker)

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Outlet Manager for its Club Lounge. The role supports the Outlet Manager in daily operations, ensures service excellence, and steps in to lead the outlet when required.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Outlet Manager with operational and administrative tasks, including staff scheduling, POS management, and financial monitoring.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene (HACCP) and service quality through regular walk‑throughs and audits.
• Oversee daily outlet operations, manage shifts, handle reservations, and maximise seating capacity.
• Collaborate closely with the Chef de Cuisine, engineering, and housekeeping teams to ensure an immaculate environment.
• Analyse monthly P&L, assist with promotional activities, and monitor market trends.

Required profile

• High school qualification; degree or HND in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an assistant restaurant manager in a luxury hotel or high‑end independent restaurant.
• International experience in at least two regions (Asia, Europe, North America, preferably Middle East).
• Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages such as Russian, Italian, Arabic or French are a plus.

Required skills

• Restaurant point of sales (POS) and cashiering procedures.
• Fine Dining and casual dining service procedures.
• HACCP knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office.
