Assistant Outlet Manager – La Cava

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Outlet Manager for La Cava, our distinctive wine‑led venue at Rosewood Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Restaurants & Bars Manager, you will work closely with the sommelier and F&B leadership to ensure seamless front‑of‑house operations and an elevated guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of La Cava, guaranteeing smooth service and memorable guest experiences.
• Lead the front‑of‑house team on the floor, upholding service rituals, brand standards and LQA requirements.
• Develop and coach staff through training, performance management and structured development plans.
• Drive revenue and profitability by upselling, controlling costs and monitoring performance metrics.
• Manage guest relationships, including VIP recognition, guest recovery and loyalty initiatives.
• Support and execute curated events such as wine tastings and private experiences.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in luxury hospitality or fine‑dining environments.
• Passion for wine, spirits and cigars with a focus on delivering elevated guest experiences.
• Strong leadership presence and ability to guide, develop and motivate a team.
• Solid operational and financial awareness, including cost control and revenue performance.
• Fluent English communication; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with the SevenRooms reservation system.
• Proficiency in Point‑of‑Sale (POS) platforms.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems.
