Assistant Procurement Manager

About the role

The Assistant Procurement Manager will support end‑to‑end procurement activities for construction, fit‑out, MEP and civil projects in Abu Dhabi, ensuring timely sourcing of quality suppliers, contractors and services.

Key responsibilities

• Support procurement planning, develop sourcing strategies and maintain supplier databases.
• Coordinate RFQs, RFPs and competitive tender processes, manage documentation and supplier communication.
• Assist commercial negotiations, contract award and administration alongside legal and project teams.
• Monitor supplier delivery commitments, track procurement risks and ensure alignment with project schedules.
• Conduct cost analysis, market benchmarking and identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5–8 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in construction or project‑based environments.
• Experience with RFQs, RFPs, tender evaluation and commercial negotiation.
• Strong supplier/vendor management and understanding of procurement governance.
