Assistant Relationship Manager

About the role

Assist Relationship Managers in maintaining and developing client relationships, handling credit and portfolio tasks, and supporting day‑to‑day banking operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client enquiries, coordinate with internal teams, and identify business opportunities within the existing portfolio.
• Prepare credit proposals, memos, amendments and monitor covenant compliance.
• Support transactional requirements such as trade finance, term loans, remittances and account administration.
• Liaise with Risk, Credit, Treasury, Legal, Operations and Compliance to ensure efficient turnaround.
• Conduct AML, KYC and other regulatory checks, maintain accurate records and support audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; MBA, CA or CFA is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Business, Commercial or Corporate Banking, supporting relationship and credit activities.
• Strong understanding of commercial banking products, credit analysis, financial statement analysis and local banking regulations.
