Assistant Restaurant Manager (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager who is fluent in Arabic to support the daily operations of our 5‑star Fairmont Bab Al Bahr restaurant in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing day‑to‑day restaurant operations and service flow.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, addressing feedback and complaints promptly.
• Supervise, train and motivate service staff to meet performance targets.
• Support staff scheduling, attendance monitoring and shift planning.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, safety and food‑safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies and stock control.
• Handle cash procedures, billing accuracy and daily revenue reporting.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to guarantee smooth service.
• Help implement promotions, special events and service initiatives.
• Step in for the Restaurant Manager during their absence.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in Food & Beverage service with supervisory exposure.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Guest‑focused attitude with a passion for hospitality excellence.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
