Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

Alabbar Enterprises & ANOTHER, a UAE-based retail group that owns several F&B concepts such as Social House, Karak House, Angelina, Gia, Markette, Two Bistro, Caya, Parka, Carpo, Ganache Chocolatier, The Good Hood Kitchen, Parka Bakehouse and Klay by Karak, is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager for one of its stylish restaurants in Dubai. The role suits someone who loves food and beverage and wants to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including bar, service, hosting and opening/closing procedures, while supervising floor activities.
• Keep food quality, presentation, preparation methods and service standards consistent to ensure high guest satisfaction.
• Maintain hygiene, sanitation and safety standards and comply with company policies and regulations.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints, support promotions and special events, and make sure guests feel welcomed.
• Recruit, train, supervise, coach and discipline staff, and keep adequate staffing levels.
• Support outlet profitability through payroll management, inventory control, stock monitoring and cost-saving measures.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports, manage POS systems, keep documentation and use business software.
• Coordinate with the Head Chef, Marketing and other departments for smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 to 5 years of full-service, fine or upper-casual dining restaurant management experience with well-known brands in the UAE; experience in homegrown concepts is an added advantage.
• F&B and/or hospitality management qualification.
• Proven track record of meeting targets and strong leadership and people-development skills.
• A-grade customer orientation and service skills.
