Assistant Security Manager

About the role

Falcon Shield Security is looking for an experienced Assistant Security Manager to support the Security Operations Manager in overseeing day-to-day security operations across multiple client sites. The role covers operational excellence, compliance with company policies and legal requirements, supervision of security personnel and delivery of high-quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Security Operations Manager in achieving departmental objectives and operational targets.
• Supervise daily operations of security personnel across assigned sites and conduct regular, unannounced day and night site inspections.
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports and escalate findings where required.
• Plan staff deployment, duty rosters, relievers and emergency replacements.
• Carry out site surveys, operational audits and risk assessments, and ensure company vehicles, equipment and assets are maintained properly.
• Monitor staff welfare and ensure sites have drinking water, shaded rest areas and sanitary amenities, and that accommodation standards are met.
• Lead, mentor and appraise security personnel, manage discipline and promote a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement.
• Build client relationships, hold regular client meetings, resolve complaints within 24 hours and meet contractual KPIs.
• Prepare monthly operational reports, manage annual leave planning, coordinate with Finance on invoices and payments, and complete operational documentation on time.
• Coordinate SIRA licensing and renewal, ensure mandatory training and licensing compliance, and organise in-house, on-site and digital training.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6-10 years' experience in a similar security management role, with proven experience supervising large security teams.
• Strong understanding of UAE security industry standards and operational procedures.

Required skills

• Leadership, organisation, planning and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report preparation.
• Preferred: SIRA Security Manager certification, First Aid and Fire Safety certifications.
