Assistant Storekeeper

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Assistant Storekeeper to support parts and warehouse operations for the MG brand in Al Ain. You will work closely with the Storekeeper and the National Parts Manager to ensure smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of automotive parts while maintaining compliance with SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Storekeeper in daily parts store and warehouse activities.
• Receive, inspect and verify incoming parts against supplier invoices and documents.
• Report damaged, missing or discrepant stock and help process related claims.
• Prepare and follow up on stock, VOR, STO and local purchase orders.
• Coordinate with the PDC, Inventory Controller, freight forwarders and other parties on parts orders and shipments.
• Record accurate receiving, issuing and inventory movements in SAP and maintain physical stock records.
• Maintain proper warehouse locations, bin identities and stock records for easy tracking.
• Assist with inbound and outbound shipments and keep required records.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts and report variances, slow‑moving and defective parts.
• Ensure the warehouse, shelving, equipment and stock are clean, organized and secure.
• Adhere to company SOPs, dealer standards and warehouse procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the National Parts Manager.

Required profile

• High school certificate or diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse or parts handling.
• Experience in an automotive dealership or parts environment is preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Familiarity with inventory systems such as SAP is preferred.
