Assistant Tax Manager

About the role

As Assistant Tax Manager at qlub, a fast-scaling fintech behind a QR-code payment platform for restaurants, you will own tax compliance across every market the company operates in. You will keep the group compliant and audit-ready while expanding, working closely with finance, legal and country teams.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and indirect tax compliance across all markets: VAT, Corporate Tax, Zakat and WHT, filed accurately and on time
• UAE Corporate Tax, from registration through returns and documentation
• KSA Zakat, VAT and WHT, including coordination with ZATCA and external advisors
• E-invoicing implementation and ongoing compliance
• Tax structuring and compliance for new and international entities, including the US entity
• Clean cross-border and intercompany positions with transfer pricing documentation
• Tax provisioning, reconciliations and reporting at month-end close
• Assessing the tax impact of new products, campaigns and business models
• Maintaining tax processes, controls and documentation, and tracking regulatory changes

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of tax experience, with strong hands-on knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT, and KSA Zakat, VAT and WHT
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred
• Exposure to multi-jurisdiction tax compliance
• Fluency in English is a must
• Nice to have: e-invoicing implementation experience, US tax exposure, and experience in fintech, payments or a high-growth environment

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems (MS Dynamics or similar)
• Advanced Excel
