Assistant Team Leader

About the role

The Assistant Team Leader will drive new business acquisition, manage customer relationships, and promote Personal Banking products through corporate partnerships and direct sales channels. The role also supports sales leadership by coordinating team activities, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring revenue targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Personal Banking products such as Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Payroll Accounts, and cross‑sell items within the assigned region.
• Achieve budgeted sales targets for primary and secondary products in line with approved business plans.
• Conduct sales promotions, corporate presentations, roadshows and customer engagement activities to maximise acquisition.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities across other business units and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• Act as delegate for the Team Leader during their absence, maintaining day‑to‑day sales operations.
• Support the Team Leader in developing, executing and monitoring sales plans.
• Track team performance, identify improvement opportunities and coach under‑performing members.
• Ensure mandatory training, compliance certifications and departmental deliverables are completed on time.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in banking, financial services or collections.
• Demonstrated experience managing collections campaigns across multiple product lines (credit cards, personal loans, auto loans, mortgages).
• Experience working in a regulated environment with exposure to compliance and audit requirements.
• Experience in the UAE or GCC banking sector is an advantage.
