Assistant Vice President Financial Crime Compliance

About the role

The Assistant Vice President, Financial Crime Compliance will ensure Aldar meets its regulatory obligations, strengthens financial‑crime awareness and upholds internal policies. The role supports business functions in achieving their objectives while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a strong culture of compliance, AML awareness and ethical conduct across the organisation.
• Support the continuous enhancement of the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) framework, systems and controls.
• Evaluate and assist with digital, AI and automation initiatives to improve compliance processes.
• Monitor regulatory developments, assess impact and update the Regulatory Universe.
• Draft, review and implement compliance policies, procedures and regulatory documentation.
• Design and maintain risk‑based compliance monitoring programmes and FCC controls.
• Prepare reports, presentations and management papers for senior management and governance forums.
• Identify, investigate and report AML, sanctions, ethics and anti‑bribery breaches, recommending corrective actions.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and monitor effectiveness of controls.
• Support regulatory inspections, audits and engagements with regulators.
