Assistant Vice President, PMO – AI Transformation

About the role

Aldar is looking for an Assistant Vice President of its Project Management Office (EPMO) in Abu Dhabi. The role leads the EPMO's AI transformation and manages the Group's strategic AI initiatives, driving their implementation and supporting ad hoc strategic and special projects.

Key responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of the highest-impact, most strategic projects and programs
• Lead the EPMO's AI transformation by building new tools, automations and products that improve productivity and insights
• Design, build and maintain AI agents and automated workflows, with adoption, data governance and continuous improvement
• Set up frameworks for initiatives, including methodologies, tools and organizational structures, and prioritize them in line with strategy
• Define milestones with Business Owners, map interdependencies and manage risks and escalations
• Report progress, achievements, interdependencies, risks and challenges to management
• Support business owners and sponsors in improving project plans and artifacts, review quality and performance reports, and run quality assurance on deliverables
• Manage change requests against approved policies and support ad hoc strategic and special projects
• Carry out research and analysis with the Strategy team as needed

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a Project Management Office role
• Experience managing projects through their full lifecycle with teams of 5+ stakeholders
• Experience deploying AI tools, agents or automations into business use and leading AI initiatives from ideation to close-out
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science or a related field; AI and PMP certification is advantageous
