Assistant Waiter/Waitress

About the role

SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences, a luxury 5-star city hotel owned by Ennismore within the Accor group, is hiring a full-time Assistant Waiter/Waitress. The hotel spans 75 floors across 946 units and sits in Downtown Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
• Maintain clear communication with management on operational updates, guest feedback and concerns.
• Know all menu items and present food and beverages to guests according to hotel and restaurant standards.
• Prepare and check tables before service and set up and maintain tables, stations and service areas.
• Support the head waiter with mise en place, table resetting and preparation before and during service.
• Ensure food delivery from the kitchen follows company practices and procedures.
• Complete cleaning duties within allocated times and finish all opening and closing procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years in a public-facing position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
• Gracious, friendly and fun demeanor.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Positive working relationships with colleagues and departments, able to work independently and in teams.
