About the role

The College of Business at Zayed University is hiring Assistant/Associate Professors in Finance to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and conduct high‑quality research.

Key responsibilities

• Teach a range of finance subjects, including corporate finance, portfolio analysis, financial derivatives, Islamic banking, and valuation.
• Conduct impactful financial research leading to publications in top‑tier academic journals.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities.

Required profile

• Doctorate in Finance from an accredited university recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education.
• Strong record of research with potential for publication in leading journals.
• Commitment to high‑quality teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Willingness to contribute to departmental and university service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bloomberg Terminal for teaching and research.
• Expertise in financial econometrics and quantitative analysis.
• Advanced financial modeling capabilities.
• Knowledge of corporate finance topics such as mergers & acquisitions, valuation, and risk management.
