Assistant/Associate Professor – Technology & Law

About the role

The College of Law at Abu Dhabi University seeks an Assistant (or in special cases Associate) Professor to join its Technology and Law faculty. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conduct cutting‑edge research, and contribute to the development of the university’s cyber law and artificial intelligence programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and seminars in Technology Law, Cyber Law, and AI Law in English (Arabic optional).
• Design and update curricula for Bachelor and Master programmes.
• Supervise undergraduate theses, Master dissertations, and PhD research.
• Produce high‑quality scholarly publications and present at international conferences.
• Participate in departmental meetings, accreditation activities, and community outreach.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three years of full‑time teaching and research experience with a record of scholarly publications.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a commitment to academic research.
• Ability to teach in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Submission of a 2‑page research proposal outlining plans for the next 2‑4 years.
