Associate Architectural Director (Architecture)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Architectural Director to join the senior leadership team of a leading design‑and‑build consultancy in Dubai. The role will drive the delivery of a high‑profile, large‑scale development project, overseeing all design and post‑contract phases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural project delivery for complex, large‑scale developments.
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact with key stakeholders.
• Oversee design coordination, technical delivery and overall project execution.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams throughout all project stages.
• Ensure projects meet programme, quality and commercial objectives.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, contractors, authorities and developer teams.
• Support contract administration and post‑contract delivery activities.
• Review technical documentation, drawings and consultant packages.
• Attend senior‑level client and project meetings.
• Mentor and manage architectural teams within the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 18 years of professional experience, with at least 12 years in the UAE market.
• Fluent Arabic speaking skills.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale projects for major developers in Dubai.
• Strong experience across design, technical delivery and pre‑ & post‑contract stages.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder and client relationships.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE authority processes, regulations and project delivery standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team‑management abilities.
