Associate - Bridges And Tunnels

About the role

WSP is looking for a highly skilled Associate to join its Bridges & Tunnels design team in Dubai. The role involves leading the design and delivery of complex bridge and tunnel projects across the UAE and the wider Middle East, supporting both government and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams for bridges, tunnels, interchanges, underpasses, retaining walls and related transportation structures.
• Act as Design Lead and Discipline Lead on major infrastructure projects, ensuring technical quality and compliance with local authority requirements and international codes.
• Provide technical direction for engineering calculations, design reports, drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Manage project delivery from concept through detailed design and construction support, coordinating highways, geotechnical, drainage, traffic, utilities and BIM disciplines.
• Monitor scope, programme, quality and resources, and support risk identification and mitigation.
• Serve as a primary contact for clients and stakeholders, building strong relationships with government agencies, developers and project partners.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience in bridge and tunnel design within leading engineering consultancies.
• Experience delivering projects in the UAE, preferably with RTA approval or familiarity with RTA standards and approval processes.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex infrastructure projects.
