Associate Corporate Counsel – Quick Commerce & Real Estate

About the role

Join Amazon’s fast‑growing Quick Commerce and Real Estate team to support the rapid expansion of ultra‑fast delivery sites across the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and South Africa. You will work closely with Quick Commerce, Operations, Finance and Compliance teams to acquire, lease, build and launch dark stores, micro‑fulfilment sites and logistics facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead legal support for site expansion, negotiating and drafting leases and third‑party service agreements for quick‑commerce locations.
• Manage high‑volume acquisition pipelines with compressed timelines and non‑standard deal structures.
• Draft and negotiate broader real‑estate agreements, including build‑to‑suit, development and purchase contracts for logistics facilities.
• Advise on construction, fit‑out contracts, project management agreements and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with local and external counsel, oversee legal strategy, quality and costs, and develop playbooks and templates to scale the network.

Required profile

• 3+ years of post‑bar admission experience, preferably a mix of law‑firm and in‑house work.
• Proven experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, especially real‑estate and construction agreements.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional Arabic or Turkish language skills are a plus.
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions in MENA, Turkey or South Africa and handling high‑volume site acquisition programmes.
