Associate Director – Corporate Finance & Investment Banking

About the role

The Associate Director will join ADIB’s Corporate Finance and Investment Banking (CFIB) team to originate, structure and execute Sharia‑compliant financing solutions for corporate and sovereign clients across the UAE and GCC. The role works closely with coverage, credit and other internal stakeholders to drive deal pipelines and ensure alignment with the bank’s risk appetite.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end deal origination, financial modelling, due diligence and credit analysis for corporate finance transactions.
• Structure Sharia‑compliant financing solutions, prepare pitch decks, term sheets and negotiate facility documentation.
• Supervise and mentor associate‑level staff within the CFIB team.
• Coordinate syndication strategy, prepare investor presentations and manage relationships with syndicate banks.
• Ensure compliance with Sharia, Central Bank regulations and ADIB internal risk policies throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, advisory or private equity, preferably within UAE or GCC banks.
• Outstanding academic record with a Master’s, MBA, CFA, CA or equivalent qualification.
