Associate Director – Cross‑Border Operations (GCC)

About the role

Noon is building a digital ecosystem that powers everyday life across the Middle East. As the Associate Director of Cross‑Border Operations for the GCC, you will shape and execute the long‑term strategy for the region’s cross‑border logistics network, driving growth, efficiency and market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and implement the strategic roadmap for GCC cross‑border logistics, covering UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
• Oversee end‑to‑end operations across all lanes, ensuring seamless integration with destination processing centers and last‑mile vendors.
• Define, monitor and improve macro‑level KPIs such as TAT, FIFO, process adherence and connection times.
• Lead high‑value commercial negotiations and partnerships with 3PL providers, international carriers, airlines and charter operators.
• Operationalize and scale bonded operations in coordination with customs authorities in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
• Supervise, mentor and scale high‑performing operations teams, aligning workforce planning with forecast volumes.
• Drive technology‑enabled process improvements, SOP development and cross‑functional product rollouts.
• Own lane‑level and network‑level financial performance, optimizing P&L, vendor billing and cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, supply chain logistics or engineering; MBA or master’s preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience, including at least five years in senior leadership of large‑scale e‑commerce or international supply‑chain operations.
• Proven expertise in global freight forwarding, customs clearance, line‑haul networks and 3PL ecosystems.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with a track record of data‑driven strategic decision‑making.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to influence senior executive leadership.
• People‑centric leadership style that builds high‑performance cultures in fast‑growing environments.
