Associate Director – QHSE

About the role

The Associate Director – QHSE will lead the development, implementation and maintenance of Imdaad's Integrated Management System covering Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Sustainability and Business Continuity. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures compliance with statutory, contractual and industry standards while driving continuous improvement across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Integrated Management System (IMS) aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 18001 and ISO 45001, including policies, procedures, training, monitoring and reporting.
• Assist the leadership team in managing and monitoring health and safety performance.
• Monitor and advise on all health and safety matters to ensure compliance with statutory and contractual requirements.
• Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive Quality Framework and annual Quality Plan.
• Establish and maintain an Enterprise Risk Management framework, including risk policies, metrics and reporting.
• Provide integrated support for sustainability initiatives, planning, implementation and results reporting.
• Collaborate with business unit heads and the executive team to develop business continuity plans and mitigate interruption risks.
• Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation across the organization.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of relevant experience in QHSE or related fields.
• Experience working with ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 18001 and ISO 45001.
• Proven ability to develop and manage integrated management systems.
