Associate General Manager – Buying (Household)

About the role

Landmark Group is seeking an Associate General Manager for Buying – Household to lead the overall business management of the soft‑goods category in Dubai. The role focuses on driving sales, profitability and strategic growth of the household product range.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive category business plans to drive sales and monitor gross margins.
• Prepare annual merchandise plans, analyse historical data and market research, and set pricing, promotion and assortment strategies.
• Define design and development specifications, ensure product quality and manage budgets for new household items.
• Build and maintain a robust vendor base, negotiate agreements, monitor orders and pursue cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Lead and develop the buying team, set KRAs, conduct performance appraisals and drive motivation.
• Gather market intelligence, analyse competition pricing and product trends to inform business decisions.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate or graduate degree with 12+ years of relevant experience in home retail, fashion apparel or textile industry.
• Proven track record in category management, buying and vendor relationship management.
• Strong fashion education background is an advantage.
