Associate Interior Designer - Hospitality

About the role

A leading hospitality-focused design studio in Dubai is looking for an experienced Associate Interior Designer to join its senior leadership team. The role shapes the studio's creative output, nurtures client relationships and drives the delivery of luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants and F&B venues. Candidates should be in Dubai or willing to relocate.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of multiple high-end hospitality projects from concept through to completion, ensuring design excellence and consistency
• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, operators and brand teams, presenting concepts and managing relationships
• Provide creative direction and critical design review to project teams at key stages
• Oversee project programmes, fees and resourcing in collaboration with studio directors
• Coordinate with architects, MEP and other consultants to ensure a fully integrated design
• Mentor and develop senior, intermediate and junior designers
• Contribute to business development, including pitches, proposals and fee submissions
• Help establish and maintain studio design standards, processes and best practice

Required profile

• Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in interior design, with a strong focus on hospitality and previous lead or senior role experience
• Outstanding portfolio of luxury hotel, resort, restaurant or F&B design work
• Previous GCC experience, ideally in Dubai, with a good understanding of the local market and approval processes
• Experience working with international hotel brands and operators
• Commercial awareness, including fees, resourcing and project profitability

Required skills

• Materials, finishes, FF&E selection, bespoke joinery and technical detailing
• Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and rendering tools
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
