Associate Principal – Long Term Asset Allocation

About the role

ADIC is seeking an Asset Allocation Associate Principal to join the Long‑Term Asset Allocation team. Reporting to the Director of Long‑Term Asset Allocation, the successful candidate will support the development and management of ADIC’s long‑term asset allocation framework and investment strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of long‑term macroeconomic outlooks, investment scenarios, and market narratives.
• Conduct research on secular trends and asset‑class developments, assessing their implications for strategic asset allocation.
• Support the design, analysis, and stress‑testing of strategic asset allocation frameworks and portfolio construction methodologies.
• Prepare investment research, presentations, and memoranda for internal stakeholders.
• Undertake ad‑hoc research and quantitative analysis to support asset allocation decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in asset allocation, investment strategy, macroeconomic research, portfolio construction or related functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or another quantitative discipline; CFA designation or postgraduate qualification preferred.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of macroeconomics and its impact on financial markets.
• Experience with expected return frameworks, asset allocation and portfolio construction methodologies.
• Quantitative analytical skills with ability to interpret and communicate investment insights.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled research tools and emerging applications of artificial intelligence in investment management.
